News flash: There are a lot of ways to decorate with balloons, and nearly all of them are more interesting than simply blowing them up and letting them sit there. Here are just a few:

Balloons are super versatile. There are so many things you can do other than the tried and true hang ’em from the ceiling. Use flexible wire bases to form an arch. Attach balloons, using a single color or several different colors, to create a balloon arch. What’s more, you can fill these balloons up with air. Air filled balloons don’t float, but since these ones will be attached to your arch and don’t need to, they will last much longer–typically weeks. By comparison, filled with helium, balloons stay inflated between 12 and 20 hours.
Have fun with it! You don’t have to fill balloons with just helium or air. In fact, another easy way to set up your balloon game is to put a glow stick inside for night-time parties. For those less confident in their DIY skills, you can purchase long-lasting, LED lights specifically for the purpose of putting them inside balloons and lighting them up.
Remember: Creativity is key! Too many customers hang up one or two foil balloons emblazoned with “Happy Birthday!” and call it a day. While there’s nothing inherently wrong with that, two balloons don’t take up much space and you’re going to have a lot more room to cover.
The foil balloon was invented for the New York City Ballet in the 1970s. They were designed to be a spectacle! Instead of buying a single foil balloon, consider ordering each letter in the words, “Happy Birthday.” Buying each letter is a fast and easy way to decorate an entire wall, and it’s more visually striking. You can also create a “balloon” wall with round, square, star-shaped, and/or heart-shaped balloons. By arranging a shape or a few shapes in orderly rows, you can create a simple but eye-catching display.
Don’t let your next party be a bore! Get guests talking with your beautiful balloon decorations. Think simple, but outside of the box! Attach balloons to create arches, shapes, or pillars, purchase LED lights or use glow sticks for your balloons to cast a dim, calming glow, or use a bunch of foil balloons to easily decorate a big space.
